Roy Newcomer – Co-Founder & Senior Technical Instructor
Roy Newcomer is the co-founder of the American Home Inspectors Training Institute and has taught home inspection classes across the nation. He is also the former owner of Newcomer’s Home Inspection Service, Inc., one of the largest multi-inspector companies in the country, performing over 20,000 home inspections. With over 30 years experience in home inspection, home construction, and real estate, he brings technical knowledge and practical know-how to his courses. Roy is a member of ASHI® and the author of seven inspector guides. |

Scott Newcomer – Co-Founder & Marketing Instructor
Scott is the co-founder of the American Home Inspectors Training Institute. He is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Association of Home Inspectors. His background includes owner and CEO of a national home inspection franchise and former owner of Newcomer’s Home Inspection Service Inc, which performed over 25,000 home inspections. Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Construction Management.

Ron Passaro – Senior Technical Instructor
Ron is the founder and President of Res-I-Tech, Inc.,
one of Connecticut’s oldest home inspection companies. He is also the founder
and first President of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
Mr. Passaro has appeared on numerous radio and national television
shows such as Good Morning America, CBS News, 48 Hours, American Journal,
NBC Dateline and HGTV. In December 2002 the Connecticut Association of Realtors
named him “Educator of the Year”. In April 2003 he received
a Public Service Award from the state of Connecticut. |

Bill Ross – Senior Technical Instructor
Bill is a long-time member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI®),
California Real Estate Inspectors Association (CREIA), NAHI, IAEI, ICBO,
and is a Certified Environmental Inspector. Bill also served on the Board
of Directors for the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI).Bill
was the Director of Technical Training and Support for Amerispec, one of
the nation’s largest franchiser, for 10 years. He was the former
owner of Goldenwest Home Inspectors, which performed over 14,000 inspections.
He was also awarded the NAHI "Educator of the Year" in 2002 and
2003.

Everett Rawlings – Senior
Technical Instructor
Everett is the founder of Federal Building Inspections,
which performed over
40,000 home inspections in North America, prior to being
acquired by
Inspectech in 2002. He is a state licensed building contractor,
certified
pest control operator and radon technician. Everett is
a member of the
National Association of Home Inspectors and currently serves
on the board.
He is also a member and past director of the American Society
of Home
Inspectors, and a member and past President of the Florida
Association of
Building Inspectors. |

Jim Schumacher – Senior Technical Instructor
Jim is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors. He is the Founder
of Done Right Home Inspections, which has performed thousands of home inspections.
He is also a certified EIFS, radon and mold inspector. The Peoria Association
of Realtors named him Inspector of the Year in 2003.Jim was the Maintenance
Director for Woodford County Housing Authority and has performed HUD & FHA
inspections. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Bloomington
Board of Realtors. |

Steve O’Donnell –Senior Technical Instructor
Steve has a long success record in the industry. He is the Co-founder of Newcomer's Inspection Services, which began in 1994. He is a certified Home Inspector in the State of Arizona and a Graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree. Steve has personally performed over 2,600 home inspections. |

Lance Smith – Senior Technical Instructor
Lance is a 1999 graduate of AHIT and the Founder Greater Seattle Home Inspections. He is a Washington State licensed structural pest inspector and has performed over 2000 home inspections. |

Joe Dudek – Senior Technical Instructor
Joe joined the AHIT Technical Training Team bringing to AHIT an in-depth level of experience in the construction area. He has been a project manager of US Home Corp., owner of a carpentry contracting company, owner of two (2) custom home building companies and is currently an owner of a successful home inspection company. Joe is very effective in communicating to his students real life experiences and how they apply to the home inspection industry. |

Mike Williams – Senior Technical Instructor
Mike is the Founder of Y.P.C. Home Inspections of Amelia Island, Florida and has performed over two thousand home inspections. He is a 1999 graduate of AHIT and his son (Kyle, a 2004 AHIT Graduate) is taking the leading role in the family business. Mike graduated from the University Of Georgia in 1974 with B.A. in Business. He was selected as a Paul Harris Fellow by his local Rotary Club. |

J.D. Fuller – Senior Technical Instructor
J.D. is the owner & operator of Hercules Home Inspection & Pest Control Services LLC. Currently it is operating with 6 full time inspectors, and 5 full time pest control personnel. Jay started doing home inspections in 1996 and joined the Texas Association of Home Inspectors in 1998. He received Inspector of the year in 2003 and was appointed Director of Area Development in 2004, then elected VP of Membership Services in 2006. Jay resides in Palestine TX with his wife Gay. They have 4 kids and 4 grandchildren. |

David Fogle – Senior Technical Instructor
David is a member of the American Society Home Inspectors (ASHI) and is an AHIT Graduate. He was also professionally trained and Certified to perform moisture intrusion inspections on stucco and synthetic stucco cladded homes by the Exterior Design Institute (EDI). David is the former owner of a multi-inspector firm with offices in Georgia and North Carolina and has personally conducted over 2000 home inspections. |

John is a business development and field instructor. His vast sales background,
including a successful home inspection business is an invaluable asset
to the Company. John is a graduate of the American Home Inspectors Training
Institute and an active member of the National Association of Home Inspectors
and the American Society of Home Inspectors. The Denver Association of
Realtors also named John “Inspector of the Year” in 2002 |

Derik Pomaville – Business Development
Instructor
Derik is a certified home inspector in the state of Arizona. An AHIT alumnus,
he has been performing home inspections since 1994. He is also a member of
the American Society of Home Inspectors. Derik also spent ten years in the
insurance industry where he developed and conducted training classes for
sales and marketing, Property and Casualty licensing and exam preparation,
and advanced management skills. Derik has also graduated and assisted in
conducting Dale Carnegie courses in Arizona and Texas. |

Paul Farrow – Business Development Instructor
Paul offers insight into the home inspection business during the hands-on
inspections. This insight comes from a successful home inspection company
that he has developed in Wisconsin. Paul is an AHIT graduate and member
of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors and the National Association

Kerry Lancaster – Business Development
Instructor
Kerry is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and is
a 1999 graduate of the American Home Inspectors Training Institute. He is owner
of High Mark Home Inspections, Inc., a thriving business operated in Jonesboro,
Georgia. He has conducted over 2,200 home inspections since opening his home
inspection business in August 1999. Kerry worked for a public utility company
for 36 years before starting his own business here
he was in marketing and sales. He facilitated continuing education between
contractors and distributors, as well as co-authored and taught an accredited
continuing education course for Realtors. |

Tammy, a resident of Williamsville New York is a real estate
investor and licensed Broker Associate with Chubb Real
Estate Group, with nineteen years of experience. She
has been one of the top five sales agents in the WNY
Metro Real Estate Group from 1999 to the present.
Her accomplishments include Certified Real Estate
Exchanger and Broker (CRB), Senior Real Estate Specialist,

her 25 years in real estate, Dee has been helping people
fulfill their “American Dream” by
buying or selling a home. Dee is a licensed real estate
broker whose clients encompass the three-state area of
Washington DC as well as those retiring or investing
in the Florida Market. As a national trainer for a national
real estate franchise, Dee has taught from Rhode Island
