Exemptions:

a) Individuals inspecting new residences
b) Architects
c) Engineers
d) Individuals holding other occupational licenses who only do inspections within their occupational confines of that license.

Qualifications for becoming a Licensed Home Inspector

Education

a) Completed 90 hours of home inspection training or its equivalent

Testing

a) Pass the required home inspection exam
