Qualifications for Becoming a Licensed Home Inspector
Process
a) Aspiring South Carolina home inspectors must fill out an application prepared by the Residential Builders Commission.
Testing
a) All prospective home inspectors
must pass the state licensing test
Experience
a) Must have one year of experience completing a minimum
of 50 inspections in the supervision of a licensed
home inspector
or
b) Be certified as a home inspector by an origination
approved by S.C. Residential Builders Commission
